An arched valance teamed up with stationary side panels enhances the architecture of this guest bedroom suite, reflecting the shape of the doorways throughout the space.  Passementarie makes the curve even more apparent.  Rich red fringe borders the valance, which is edged with red ribbon along the top. 

The fringe is echoed on the leading edges and bottoms of the side panels, too, reiterating the framing effect of the window treatment around the alcove.  The secret to the lush quality of these curtains, though, is that because they both are lined and interlined, they have total blackout capability as well as elegant, classical English styling.
